CPT & OPT Options for International Students:
Curricular Practical Training (CPT) – allows international students who hold an F-1 Visa to work temporarily to gain practical experience from their respective fields. It could be an internship (paid or unpaid) and cooperative (co-op). The CPT must be completed before the student graduates and they are allowed to work for 20 hours per week.
Optional Practical Training (OPT) – allows international students who hold an F-1 Visa to work up to 12 months after they complete their 1st year of studies in the US. However, students who hold degrees in STEM streams are allowed to work for 17 months with an extension of up to 24 months.

Documents Required for Admission
- Attested copies of mark sheets of class X, XII, and the Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree.
- Two academic reference letters from lecturers/professors who have taught you most recently.
- Two Work experience LOR, letters of recommendation from the employer or manager who knows you well and can comment on your professional abilities.
- Personal Statement (SOP).
