Europe is the largest continent which is in the Northern Hemisphere and Eastern Hemispheres. European higher education used to follow very diverse national systems. However, there is a Bologna Process in place now which established the European Higher Education Area. Due to this, there has been an increase in programmes taught in English making it easier for International students to pursue higher education in European countries.
“In the first six months of this year, there has been an increase of 40 per cent in the number of Indian students going to study in France over the previous year’s corresponding year, in which 4,500 students made the trip,” the French ambassador Alexander Ziegler (Source: ET Magazine).
There is a growing trend of more Indian students preferring destinations like France, known for engineering and business, besides being the fashion capital of the world, which also attract a lot of students who wish to pursue fashion or arts.

* However, International students are entitled to education subsidies same as the local students of Europe.
In U.K., there are many programs for almost all streams including fashion technology, music, other performing arts, etc. Most master’s courses in the U.K. are around a fee of 10 lakhs per year. Another reason why U.K. is one of the most preferred student destinations is because for some of the courses there is an option to take a 1-year course instead of 2 years. There are many lucrative post completion of courses job opportunities here, however, only 4 months of post course completion stay is allowed.
Germany is one of the most sought-after student destinations due to their amazing-quality of education and low or no tuition fees structure in nearly all colleges of Germany. What adds on to this interesting factor of studying in Germany is the reasonable and relatively lower cost of living. Although, there is usually a mandatory basic spoken-German exam that students need to clear, the only other exam criteria to get through to most universities in Germany is merely a good IELTS score. But, needless to worry, all the programmes are taught in English. There is also a nearly one and a half years of stay-back option that further facilitates very good career prospects in Germany, which is, as a matter of fact extremely famous for all its engineering programs in general.
